چکیده

Abstract Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play an essential role in the progression of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC). However, expression and function lncRNA susceptibility candidate 7 (CASC7) PTC remain unknown. The purpose this study was to investigate molecular mechanism CASC7 regulating cell behavior. CASC7, miR-34a-5p, tumor protein P73 (TP73) determined by qRT-PCR western blot. Cell proliferation examined MTT assay. apoptosis assessed flow cytometry following Annexin V PI staining. migration Transwell interaction between miR-34a-5p or TP73 luciferase reporter were significantly lower, whereas higher tissues than adjacent normal tissues. Furthermore, overexpression inhibited migration, facilitated human lines (K1 TPC-1). Mechanistically, acted as a sponge upregulate expression. Moreover, mimic transfection could abate CASC7-regulated proliferation, apoptosis. Collectively, cells sponging

Long non-coding RNA TUG1 promotes endometrial cancer development via inhibiting miR-299 and miR-34a-5p

It is generally known that the human genome makes a large amount of noncoding RNAs compared with coding genes. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) which composed of more than 200 nucleotides have been described as the largest subclass of the non-coding transcriptome in human noncoding RNAs. Existing research shows that lncRNAs exerted biological functions in various tumors via participating in both ...

MiR-34a inhibits colon cancer proliferation and metastasis by inhibiting platelet-derived growth factor receptor α.

The microRNA (miRNA), miR‑34a is significant in colon cancer progression. In the present study, the role of miR‑34a in colon cancer cell proliferation and metastasis was investigated. It was found that the expression of miR‑34a in colon cancer tissues and cell lines was lower when compared with that of normal tissues and cells. Further research demonstrated that miR‑34a inhibited cell prolifera...

MiR-577 inhibits papillary thyroid carcinoma cell proliferation, migration and invasion by targeting SphK2.

OBJECTIVE MiRNAs are small, noncoding RNA molecules that serve as important regulators of cancer-related processes. Abnormal expression of miR-577 has been found in several tumors. However, the expression pattern and biological function of miR-577 in progression of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) remain unknown. This study is aimed to determine its expression pattern and explore the function und...

Novel long noncoding RNA GACAT3 promotes colorectal cancer cell proliferation, invasion, and migration through miR-149

Aim To explore the expression and clinical significance of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) gastric cancer-associated transcript 3 (GACAT3) in human colorectal cancer (CRC). Methods Expression of GACAT3 in CRC tissues and cell lines was measured using quantitative real-time PCR. CCK-8 and colony formation assays were used to assess the effect of GACAT3 on CRC cell line proliferation. Transwell inv...

miR-509-5p inhibits cellular proliferation and migration via targeting MDM2 in pancreatic cancer cells

OBJECTIVE This study aimed to explore the effect of miR-509-5p on pancreatic cancer progression and clarify the underlying mechanisms. METHODS Real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was employed to determine miR-509-5p expression in pancreatic cancer tissues and noncancerous adjacent tissues. CCK-8 and Transwell experiments were employed to examine cellular pro...
